John Sackar QC

Mr Sackar QC was admitted to practise as a barrister in New South Wales in 1975 and Queens Counsel in 1987. He is currently head of chambers of Six (6) Floor Selborne/Wentworth Chambers in Sydney, Australia, comprising some fifty barristers, including sixteen senior counsel.

He has practised extensively in all jurisdictions in Australia before trial and appellate courts.

He specialises in commercial litigation and has appeared in many large and complex commercial trials.

He also has been admitted as hoc to the bar in Brunei on many occasions and has appeared before the Privy Council on appeals from Brunei and earlier from Australia.

He was admitted to the bar in the UK in 2006, where he was called to Middle Temple.
