Fabjola is currently completing her pupillage at 4-5 Gray’s Inn Square under the supervision of Vivienne Sedgley. Her legal experience ranges from Commercial and Chancery law to International Human Rights. During her pupillage, she hopes to continue expanding her practice in Commercial Chancery, as well as gain experience of Chambers' key areas of work, in particular Public and Election law.
Prior to commencing pupillage, Fabjola worked as a legal advisor to a multinational risk management, insurance brokerage (3rd largest in the world) and advisory company. Her responsibilities spanned several practice areas including (re)insurance, employment and data protection and geographically covered company business worldwide (over 140 countries). This enabled her to provide commercially strategic legal advice to businesses and clients.
Fabjola has been invited to speak on Immigration and International Refugee law at the House of Lords by Women Worldwide Advancing Freedom and Equality (WWAFE) and has presented lectures on the same at the European University of Tirana. She has also provided legal assistance and research for the Convention for the Elimination of all forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW) Committee in its task to transpose CEDAW into domestic law.
Outside of the law, Fabjola is passionate about philanthropy and is the Founding Director of The Drita Project UK, a charitable international project providing assistance and support to impoverished children and families with access to medical care facilities and education.
