Jonathan Rose successfully overturns conviction in criminal proceedings.
Following a referral by the CCRC to the Court of Appeal Jonathan Rose successfully overturned his client’s 2004 conviction, following the co defendant’s successful appeal against murder convictions in 2011.
This case highlights Jonathan’s expertise in serious criminal matters. Another of his recent cases involved the successful representation of a consultant physician facing serious child exploitation allegations in the Crown Court.
Jonathan has appeared in most courts, including the Supreme Court, Privy Council, Court of Appeal and High Court and has been called on a case-by-case basis in the Cayman Islands.
Jonathan’s practice also includes commercial dispute resolution, civil and regulatory work in addition to his criminal practice.
