4-5 Gray's Inn Square Members Paul Cohen and Elisabeth Mason can now reveal their involvement in one of the largest and most consequential arbitrations of all time. For the past six years they have been co-leading a $32.2 billion international arbitration.
The second largest in global history; an ongoing, modern contract dispute with a fascinating backstory going back to the Sultanate of Sulu in the 1800s.
Paul and Elisabeth have led the case throughout, working with Bernardo M. Cremades, Jr. and colleagues at B. Cremades y Asociados in Madrid, and more recently with Benjamin Siino and colleagues of Gaillard Banifatemi Shelbaya Disputes in Paris.
