Top 20 Cases of 2021 in The Lawyer - Skatteforvaltningen (the Danish Customs and Tax Administration) v Solo Capital Partners LLP (in Special Administration) and Ors

Jonathan Rose featured in the top five in The Lawyer’s Top 20 cases list last week acting in the case of Skatteforvaltningen (the Danish Customs and Tax Administration) v Solo Capital Partners LLP (in Special Administration) and others. This is an alleged £1.5bn fraud case, relating to fraudulent application to claim refunds of dividend withholding tax. The case was described by Mr Justice Baker as ‘litigation on a massive scale’ with almost 100 defendants listed alongside more than 20 separate.
