Overview

Investigations, in all their different forms, are on the rise both domestically and internationally and often with increasing complexity and size. The range of legal issues and possible outcomes is also increasing. Corporates and individuals therefore have a multiplicity of factors to consider when they are undertaking, or are the subject of, such investigations.

Our Investigations and Resolutions team has a wealth of experience in this area which is invaluable in assisting clients in navigating this often challenging landscape in a time and cost efficient manner.

Our members have considerable expertise in different regimes and sectors. In particular, our business crime and financial regulation specialists have significant firsthand experience of working with prosecutors and regulators at every stage; from the outset of an investigation through to negotiated settlements or ultimately advocacy before courts and tribunals (both in England and Wales and where appropriate offshore).

Our experts also offer a comprehensive package of services to both organisations and individuals who are faced with whistleblowing concerns.

We understand the demands of an investigation, and we pride ourselves on our collegiality, responsiveness, and ability to work in and with teams on fast moving matters.
