Health and Safety regulatory specialist Tanveer Qureshi, represented site foreman Vasyl Bychkov, who faced a serious corporate manslaughter charge.

The case was listed at Birmingham Crown Court before Mrs Justice Yip DBE.

 

The 2 day sentence concluded pm 15th February 2024, resulting in a £450,000 fine being imposed against the company and Qureshi’s client Mr Bychkov, was sentenced to a community order and unpaid work of 135 hours.

 

The case was regarding fatality of a labourer, working at a development site in Hockley, Birmingham in 2019
