Overview

Members of our Adult Social Care team act for claimants, relatives, statutory agencies, private bodies, protected parties and local authorities. We also advise and assist public bodies and individuals in respect of both non-contentious medical treatment matters and matters which are concluded without recourse to the court.

We advise in cases concerning adult social care, financial and serious medical treatment decisions, mental health, nearest relative displacement applications, health and welfare proceedings in the Court of Protection, care act matters and Adult safeguarding.

Many cases can be resolved by mediating and Chambers is able to offer a seamless service at 4-5 as many of our barristers are trained mediators who are recommended in the legal directories.
