Elizabeth is a Barrister called in England and Wales and in the Supreme Court of the Eastern Caribbean (Virgin Islands). Before becoming a barrister, she gained over 20 years of commercial negotiation and dispute resolution experience with some of the world’s largest companies. She has worked across the globe with a wide range of people and in a wide range of legal and commercial areas.

She is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (MCIArb), a Fellow and Director of FICA and a Member of ICCA. She is highly sought after in technical disputes and has a wide range of expertise.

Elizabeth is also a highly sought after mediator (mediator and Counsel) and is also appointed as Panel Counsel to advise the Government of the British Virgin Islands. She sits on decision panels for the Government and on professional conduct committees for professional standards.

Her experience covers a wide range of disputes including contract/debt, commercial, land, property, construction, manufacturing, damage claims, aviation and professional negligence. She is considered an expert in matters relating to arboricultural matters (trees and hedges) and issues related to forestry.

Elizabeth has qualifications in both Food Science and law and her experience in this area is unique. She has experience of working for the second largest retailer in the UK (Sainsbury’s), a global forestry and consumer goods manufacturer (Essity) and a chemicals food ingredients manufacturer (Celanese).
