Katie joined Chambers as a pupil barrister in October 2018 and accepts instructions in all of Chambers' core practice areas.
Since starting pupillage, Katie has gained experience in a wide range of housing law matters including possession claims, homelessness, anti-social behaviour, licensing, and service charge disputes. She has a particular interest in cases involving public law, mental health, equality, and human rights issues.
Katie also has experience in electoral law. She has assisted with cases concerning referendums, and recently wrote a research report on the resolution of electoral disputes in England and Wales for Lebanon’s Constitutional Council.
In February 2019, Katie received the Atkin Senior Scholarship for Pupillage, which is awarded by Gray’s Inn to pupils of exceptional merit.
