Róisín commenced pupillage in October 2025. As a first-six pupil, she has worked across chambers’ key areas of work, with significant exposure to local government and housing law matters. She is interested in practising across public, housing and employment law, with a particular interest in matters which engage human rights and equality issues.
Prior to pupillage she worked as a Policy and Research Officer for the Irish Human Rights and Equality Commission (Ireland’s dual-mandate National Human Rights Institution and National Equality Body). This role involved engagement with human rights committees at the United Nations and Council of Europe, including drafting comprehensive reports on Ireland’s compliance with human rights treaties. It also required extensive knowledge of equality law and the Public Sector Duty, as well as a practical understanding of the day-to-day operation of public bodies.
In other roles, Róisín has worked on visa applications in a US-based nonprofit organisation, drafted judicial reference documents for the Inter-American Court of Human Rights and held the position of trustee in an arts and culture charity.
