A Conversation about Neurodiversity and the Bar
Join us during Neurodiversity Celebration Week to discuss life at the Bar with a neurodiversity.
When: Wed 19 Mar 2025 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Where: The Ashworth Centre, Lincoln's Inn (and Online), WC2A 3QB
This event will see our panel discuss court work, paperwork, diary management and marketing for neurodiverse members of the Bar and those that support them. The event will include solution focused responses to offer practical advice for those seeking support and include views and experiences from various levels of seniority at the Bar.
Adam Richardson will be making up the panel alongside Emma Southern (Chair), a Bencher of the Inn and barrister at 3PB, Alice de Coverley and Julian Norman. Adam is a trustee who helped establish Neurodiversity in Law as a charity as well as a chancery and general common law barrister at 4-5 Gray's Inn Square. Adam wishes to ensure no one feels like being neurodivergent impedes excellence at the Bar. He decided to join as a trustee for Neurodiversity in Law to ensure that no mind is left behind and that the legal profession becomes a more accepting and accessible sector.
The event is free and open to members of all four Inns.
