Employment Law Conference on 26 November 2025

4–5 are hosting a half-day Employment Law Conference on 26 November 2025, bringing together legal professionals to explore some of the most pressing developments in employment law.

The event will take place at the Old Hall, Lincoln’s Inn, London, from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, with tickets priced at £65 + VAT.

The conference is designed for those working in or advising on employment law issues — whether in central or local government, claimant practices, or the wider legal sector.

The day will conclude four sessions delivered by experts in their field along with a relaxed lunch reception – a great opportunity to network and reflect.

Speakers and Topics include:

  • Richard O'Dair – examining the intersection of employment and human rights law, including the latest developments following cases such as Higgs v Farmor’s School and the “Darlington Nurses” litigation.

  • Simon Harding – For this session Simon will be speaking on the statutory definitions of “employee” and “worker”, and the status of political volunteers under s.230 ERA and the Equality Act 2010.

  • Sinead King – discussing For Women Scotland Ltd v The Scottish Ministers [2025] UKSC 16 and Earl Shilton Town Council v Miller [2023] EAT 5, and their implications for workplace discrimination and facilities policies.

  • Simon McCrossan – analysing whistleblowing detriments and dismissals in light of Wicked Vision Ltd v Rice, as the case heads to the Court of Appeal.

The conference promises to deliver a practical and timely exploration of emerging case law, offering valuable insights for practitioners navigating complex employment issues in 2025.
