Adam Richardson Appears in High Court Electoral Law Case

Chambers is pleased to note that Adam Richardson appeared in the High Court in an electoral law matter arising from the Gorton and Denton by-election.

Acting for the Reform UK candidate, Adam successfully argued that the omission of the statutory imprint from approximately 81,000 campaign leaflets resulted from an inadvertent printing error, not any lack of good faith. The Court accepted those submissions and granted relief from the potential statutory consequences.

This case highlights Adam’s experience in electoral and public law, particularly in urgent High Court proceedings involving technical statutory compliance issues.
