Chambers’ Nikesh Pandit acts as external professional conduct counsel instructed by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

 

As part of these instructions, over the past six months, Nikesh has advised ICAEW investigation teams on charges and sufficiency of evidence in a range of professional conduct matters involving chartered accountants and ACA students. Nikesh’s instructions have included complex insolvency matters and non-financial misconduct. 

 

Nikesh has conducted this work alongside significant instructions from the FCA; Government Legal Department; Metropolitan Police, as sole counsel in proceedings at Southwark Crown Court; and leading defence solicitors.
