Imogen Sadler represented the Ministry of Justice in a five-day inquest concerning the death of a foreign national prisoner at HMP Wandsworth who was facing extradition to Poland.

The jury concluded that no actions by the prison were causative of the death. Following submissions and live evidence on the learning undertaken and measures implemented by HMP Wandsworth, including enhanced translation services and support for foreign national prisoners, the Coroner was satisfied that these improvements meant that no Prevention of Future Deaths report was necessary.
