Jayesh Jotangia advises one of the largest Indian banks on terms of a personal guarantee and indemnity and an Indian FMCG manufacturer on intellectual property rights in the UK.

As part of Jayesh’s growing practise offering advice to Indian companies on commercial agreements and UK regulatory matters, he was recently instructed by two major Indian companies in the same week. Jayesh advised the bank on a complex multi-million pound terms of a personal guarantee and indemnity for a major project in India with an English jurisdictional enforcement clause. He advised the bank on how to effectively execute a deed and as to enforcement, how to bring proceedings in the UK in the event a breach of those terms.

 

At the same time, Jayesh was also instructed by a major FMCG manufacturer on intellectual property rights in the UK with regards to challenging a registered trademark and securing its own trademarks simultaneously.
