Josep Galvez has been appointed to the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre’s (HKIAC) Panel of Arbitrators
We are delighted to announce that Josep Galvez, FCIArb 约瑟, barrister at 4-5 Gray’s Inn Square and Fellow of the CIArb, has been appointed to the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre’s (HKIAC) Panel of Arbitrators.
His term will run until 31 December 2030, marking an important recognition of Josep’s extensive experience in international arbitration, investment treaty disputes, and the enforcement of awards involving sovereign parties and multinational corporations.

He is regularly instructed in high-stakes arbitrations across Europe, Latin America, and Asia, often involving sovereign immunity issues and multi-jurisdictional enforcement.
At 4-5 Gray’s Inn Square, he continues to build a distinguished cross-border practice in:
✔️ Arbitration under ICC, ICSID, SIAC, LCIA and UNCITRAL rules
✔️ Sovereign immunity disputes and award enforcement
✔️ Jurisdictional challenges and interim relief in cross-border disputes
We are proud to support Josep in this new role and look forward to his contributions to HKIAC’s global arbitration community.
