London Borough of Enfield v Muhammad Aksahin [2026] EWCA Civ 231
Fabjola Aruci, instructed by the London Borough of Enfield, successfully obtained a borough-wide injunction prohibiting car cruising. The injunction was renewed on 20 December 2025 against persons unknown until 20 December 2026 and, significantly, extended against named defendants until 20 December 2031.
On 5 March 2026, Fabjola Aruci was again instructed by the London Borough of Enfield in a notable appeal brought by a defendant who, as a passenger in a vehicle, had been found in breach of the injunction—marking the first committal of its kind. The Court of Appeal handed down judgment decisively dismissing the appeal and upholding the original order.
Fabjola was instructed on behalf of the Respondent by Balbinder Kaur at the London Borough of Enfield.
Fabjola Aruci accepts instructions in relation to Injunctions (including multi-party, complex and Persons Unknown injunctions) and Committal proceedings via clerks.
