Nikesh Pandit represents the Metropolitan Police Service

Nikesh Pandit represents the Metropolitan Police Service in drugs related misconduct hearing. The case concerned a police officer who had tested positive for cocaine but suggested this was due to a spiked drink whilst watching the Euro 2024 final in a pub. Having heard the officer give evidence and be cross-examined by Nikesh, the hearing Chair considered the spiking defence to be “fanciful”. The police officer was dismissed without notice.
