For the construction and infrastructure industry change is coming.

The UK Government has unveiled its Infrastructure Strategy 2025–2035, a 10-year plan to upgrade schools, hospitals, courts, prisons, transport and flood defences.

Key commitments:

  1. £6bn a year for hospital repairs

  2. £3bn for schools & colleges

  3. £600m for courts & prisons

  4. £8bn for flood defence – the largest programme in UK history

This ambitious strategy, led by the new NISTA, aims to improve public services, strengthen resilience and drive growth across the UK. The overall approach followed and the sums invested are likely to impact future construction & infrastructure disputes.
