• Greenwood v Information Commissioner and The Department for Health and Social Care (First-Tier Tribunal): a FOIA request for private communication between a previous Secretary of State for Health and Social Care and one of his advisors.

• X v An Offshore Financial Services Authority (confidential, ongoing): acting for the authority in an investigation against two offshore companies and their directors for numerous potential breaches of the AML/CTF rules.

• Akbars Restaurant (Middlesbrough) Limited v The Secretary Of State For The Home Department (Court of Appeal): lawfulness of considering new and different reasons for imposing a civil penalty at the appeal hearing against the original penalty.

• Dr P v NHS Commissioning Board (FTT): appeal against a decision to impose conditions on the doctor’s personal practice based on the findings of a third-party body investigating the general practice at which the doctor worked.

• Nursing and Midwifery Council v M (FTP): acted for the council in a complex three-week trial against a midwife facing over 30 allegations of misconduct (clinical and lack of integrity).

• Dr D v General Medical Council (MPTS): acted for the doctor in a complex trial involving a number of dishonesty allegations concerning COVID-19 requirements.

• Health and Care Professions Council v L (HCPTS): acted for the authority in an extensive and complex misconduct (dishonesty) and lack of competence hearing.

• Dr K v General medical Council (MPTS): acted for the doctor in challenging his suspension order following non-clinical misconduct findings.

• Y v FCA (confidential): acted for the FCA in an investigation against a company and its directors for potential breaches of the financial promotions rules and advised the FCA on the circumstances in which it could seek restitution against a third-party service payments provider.

• Sharif v Birmingham City Council (Court of Appeal): lawfulness of injunctions against persons unknown to prevent street-cruising.
