Iulia joined 4-5 Gray’s Inn Square as a pupil in October 2019 and accepts instructions in all of Chambers’ core practice areas. Having been supervised by Jonathan Manning, Toby Vanhegan and Vivienne Sedgley, Iulia has gained experience of a variety of cases in the Court of Appeal, High Court and County Court, including drafting pleadings, defences, skeleton arguments and advices in public, local government, housing and property law.
Prior to commencing pupillage, Iulia had a successful practice as a County Court Advocate and appeared in court on a daily basis for 3 years, giving her vital advocacy experience. Her work included a variety of commercial, housing and property cases, including contractual and service charges disputes, possession claims, mortgage disputes, Insolvency Act and Companies Act applications. As part of her pro bono work whilst studying for the BPTC, she assisted barristers representing directors of companies in the Winding Up Court by taking instructions and drafting last minute applications.
Iulia is on the Attorney General’s Junior Junior panel of counsel.
