Rosalee Dorfman Mohajer contributes to 'British Legal Reform: An Agenda For Change' book in Chapter regarding housing law reforms
This book is a manifesto for change that showcases new policy ideas for an incoming Labour government.
Organised by the Society of Labour Lawyers, the Labour Party’s legal think tank, the contributors inspire debate about Britain’s future, exploring a wide range of issues from access to justice to family law reform, housing, employment, EU and trade law, asylum and refugee law, immigration and citizenship, international law and constitutional reform.
The book is co-edited by newly elected Catherine Atkinson MP, general counsel David Drew and Durham University’s Professor Thom Brooks. Atkinson is Chair and Drew a Vice-Chair of the Society of Labour Lawyers (SLL). All three have served together on the Society’s executive. The SLL is the UK Labour Party’s legal think tank and organised the publication. Lord Falconer of Thoroton, former Lord Chancellor, wrote the foreword.
The new book has 14 chapters covering proposed legal reforms across a variety of areas, including access to justice, artificial intelligence, asylum, constitutional reform and devolution, crime, employment, the environment, EU, family, housing, planning and more. Professor Brooks contributes on immigration and nationality law and reform. Contributors include leading KCs, barristers, solicitors, activists and academics.
