Practice Summary

Jasraj joined chambers as a tenant in November 2022 following successful completion of his third-six pupillage.

Throughout his third-six and in the early stages of his tenancy, Jasraj has developed a busy and varied Court based practice spanning chambers’ main practice areas. In particular, Jasraj regularly represents both landlords and tenants in a variety of both private and social housing disputes. That work includes all types of possession proceedings, applications for injunctions, disrepair claims, unlawful eviction cases, cases involving Equality Act and public law considerations and applications for closure orders. Jasraj is keen to continue developing his housing practice and expertise.

In addition to his housing work, Jasraj is also regularly instructed and developing his practice in professional discipline, regulatory, employment, civil claims by the police and general civil and commercial work.

Outside of work, Jasraj enjoys watching and playing sport. He supports Tottenham Hotspur and is an average cricketer. He also enjoys reading and spending time with friends and family.
