Tessa-Jade is an experienced barrister with a broad practice spanning Commercial, Chancery and International Private Law. She has a particular expertise in advising international clients on cross-border disputes, jurisdictional clauses and the enforcement of judgments.
Complementing her international practice, she has extensive experience of litigation in England and Wales, regularly acting for corporate clients in complex disputes. Prior to pupillage, Tessa-Jade practised as a County Court advocate, appearing in a wide range of civil litigation disputes, including interlocutory application hearings and small claims trials.
Tessa-Jade is particularly adept at working closely with international in-house legal teams, providing advice and drafting in both contentious and non-contentious matters. Clients value her commercial acumen, adaptability under tight deadlines and precise legal advice.
Tessa-Jade is available to deliver in-house training and is particularly skilled at providing training to non-legal teams on complex subjects. She prides herself on combining her legal expertise with a client-centred approach to deliver tangible results.
She is Direct Access qualified and can accept instructions with a short turnaround.
Outside of work, Tessa-Jade enjoys learning Dutch, cooking and taking long walks with her Tibetan terrier, Otto.
